AFFILIATIONS

The HPCSA is a statutory body, which is guided by the Health Professions Act 56 of 1974.
The HPCSA regulate health professionals in South Africa and are mandated to protect the public. They only register professionals who meet the standards of their training, professional skills and behaviour. This means that professionals registered with the HPCSA are sincere and meet national standards. This offers you protection if professionals fail to meet these standards.

Inventor of the FCE, the ground-breaking evaluative tool that evaluates the physical requirements of a job. All our therapists are Workwell certified ensuring FCE reports that are a fair reflection of client ability.

The Occupational Therapy Association of South Africa is a non-profit professional organisation representing the interests of occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants across South Africa with a main goal to further the practice of Occupational Therapy
OTASA is furthermore dedicated to the advancement of the occupational therapy profession and the improvement of services to the consumer.

AFFILIATIONS

SAMLA is an independent, neutral, educational and transparent organisation not for profit, funded by membership contributions, donations and funds generated through seminars. Professionals include judges, academics, legal practitioners, medical practitioners and other professional practitioners registered with the HPCSA, who have an interest in the objectives of the SAMLA.

The South African Institute for Sensory Integration is a non-profitable organization which provides sensory integration training of internationally accepted standards to enable occupational therapists to provide a service of excellence for the ultimate benefit of the client and their families. SAISI is a founder member of International Coalition for Excellence in SI (ICESI) and is also committed to support research within the field of Ayres Sensory Integration ®.
